In December 2011, the Tyler City Council granted approval of Sandy Beach, an exclusive 11-lot development on the east side of Lake Tyler. The bidding on leases on these lots will begin at $250,000. Annual lease payments will also be collected by the City. The bid process will begin early in 2012.
